Bayou Decade Eagle

This eagle was standing on the top of the rock levee in Bayou DeCade. I was able to get this picture as he was taking off. We have been seeing eagles on almost every trip.

I have been noticing the same thing down in Dularge man! We have been seeing them around Lake Merchant even this year. I like it, but wonder why there is such a boom of bald eagles down there. Just interesting I wonder what factors play a part in that. I wish the factors that lead to a bald eagle boom lead to more ducks as well lol

If you drive I-10 from Laplace to Kenner you see them everytime.
