No real familiar with Cocodrie area any advice?

A friend and I are going to Cocodrie this weekend he's fished it before but I've only fished it a few times and didn't have alot of luck. So any help would be much appreciated like best place to stay and where to fish what to use? I've seen a lot of pics and post from this area lately. Wondering what's the secret? Thanks in advance!!

The mouth of Bay Lucien is a good place when the tide is moving in and out.
