Hunting Bayou Bienvenue, north of lower 9th NOLA

New to hunting. I'm looking to bow hunt hog in Bayou Bienvenue. I'd be glad of any advice. Am I good to hunt here with a basic license? Where should I go to learn about bow hunting hog?

If your bow hunting , you need a bow hunting license along with basic and maybe big game also . Bayou savage refuge is around there somewhere the rest is private as far as I know . I'd check with wlf to make sure . Orleans parish may have its own laws.
