I use a climber and hang on on Public lands. The hang on is nice because you can hang it anywhere, but when I'm hunting the pines I like to get higher and that is where I use the climber. I have a Millenium M100U with HAWK Aerolite sticks. 3 sticks lets me get about 13-14 feet up. They weigh a lot less than a ladderstick. I practiced putting them up and taking them down a lot. It's easy. But i just slide the stand out of the mounting block and put it on my back to climb down. I leave the sticks up for the weekend or whatever. If I was to use any ladderstick it would be the Lone Wolf. Lightweight and goes up to 20 ft. Also I bowhunt a lot and you can't beat a hang on for that.
