EDIT: Pictures were flip flopped when i added them. It also made me at them one at a time after i posted the text i also had everything nice and spaced out. I will try again in a second..
You should refer to the pictures as well as this one to get a good idea about the area.
Purple spot is where the Christmas trees are. First cut after the Blue oil well. A 100 or so feet in there is a tree on the left side with small cuts on either side. When the water is moving, you can smoke them all day right there.
Blue spot
This is a good cut for anything and everything sacs, bass, perch, and catfish. There are uprooted trees all along the right of the canal. Some you can see and some have been taken away by storms but the holes are still there.
Yellow spot
All around good spot. Troll in slow and start fishing the bank. Usually pick up a few on the left side and by the grass bed towards the back of the cut. The right side seems to always produce more. THERE IS AN UNDERWATER GATE BY THE PILINGS AND A SUNKEN TREE THAT IS STUCK IN THAT GRASS BED. Catfish start running hard right before dark. I've sat out there until 9:00 at night catching and releasing.
Green spot
Sac a lait, perch and Goo's. There are lots of stumps in the area so do not run through there. I like to fish behind the floatons. The only bad thing about this spot is it is a high traffic area.
Second Picture
I marked the green spot on the bottom as a reference.
These two are pretty self explanatory once you get out there. Red spot is generally hit or miss. Fish the points. Dont waste too much time there. They are either there or not. At the head of the canal by the red spot, there is a fallen tree that i like a lot.
If you are going after Sacs in the early morning, i find that more times than not they stack up almost in the middle of the canals. As the day goes on they move closer to the bank.
Here is the link to the area on Google Earth. Zoom out and get familiar with the area. I stated in an earlier post details about where these canals are.

I will be out there all day Friday and most of Saturday. Ill either be in a center console pro drive or a tan mudboat with a fan tail.
If you go, let me know how you all do.
