Man crabs don't even eat those things. Fight them and let them go.

Yes! first you have to soak it in warm water for about 30 mins. after the pre-soak you will need a really good bbq pit preferably with a smoking tray/bowl...
After you get the pit nice and hot place the fish slabs on a cedar plank, season with old bay and tony's seafood seasoning to perfection, or atleast until you feel its ready to smell/sight, place that sucker in the pit for about 20 mins.. give or take, and check on it.. once the white flegm looking stuff emerges from the bottom of the fish slab, throw fish in trash and eat cedar plank!

That was a good one... You had me for split second :)

However, there is a version of the Jack family that is good to eat, the White Ulua that is caught in Hawaii... Now there is a fish that puts up a fight. I do not think their part of the Jack family, not sure on that one.

Going on a snapper trap several years ago. One of the gang said that shark was better than snapper and great tasting. One guy stepped up and said give you all my shark for one bag of snapper. No more talk about how good shark was after than conversation.
