Is there any fish to be caught at the chef bridge?

...Fort.McComb ...Chef Pass...those forts were always built on the deepest side...the opposite side would have shallow water... therefore if a ship trying to keep her distance would get stuck in mud gives the 'Fort' a excellent stationary target...anyway when the tide is rolling thru seems a brick would'n hold the bottom...it can be wicked, try to catch the tide at it's slowest in or out...it can be good at times...cheers

Lake Borgne west side is protected in a west wind, and some sight fishermen like to work the new cement banks. However, most people struggle to catch fish in the summer except for bass. If you like bass, they are around.

Are there any rigs near chef pass?

There is a rig near Alligator Point, but the productive ones for trout are in the middle of Borgne. The rigs become less productive after mid June for trout. The keeper trout, frankly, are on the other side of the Biloxi Marsh, a very long run. The name of the game is bass, and meatfish. The meatfish is hit and miss. I fish the Twin Spans on a tide change for the meatfish. At sunset, I hit a pond for reds, and its slow but I usually get a couple. Otherwise, its bass in the bayous and river systems. After a beer, I start serenading the gators, too. So, that's your real answer....If the fishing was actually good, I wouldn't be doing my Frank Sinatra imitation to prehistoric animals.
