Was looking for any info on how far out I would have to run past Last island or west timbalier to get to some rigs that would hold snapper, in a 24ft bayboat so I don't want to have to go to far, so if anyone could give me some info on the closest rigs that would be deep enough to hold snapper that would be appreciated

If your talking about red snapper, you will have to remain inside state waters. At 9 nautical miles, south of last island will put you on ship shoal which will be too shallow for red snapper. South of West Timbalier
at 9 nautical miles will be in 55-60 feet of water, which is on the edge of red snapper territory. You can catch a few in the South Timbalier 30 blocks. You have a better chance for red snapper in state waters from Fourchon or Grand Isle. Don't forget your ROLP.
