Bow kill

I killed this buck in Union Parish..It was 20 yards away when the 100gr muzzy put him down in his tracks!!(spine shot) 9 point, 200lbs!

i would have never cut that deers throt and messed up that mount.

He said it was a spine shot. That usually results in a paralyzed but VERY alive deer. Great bow kill. Congrats.

Great deer you have there. Just so you and others will know. Cutting the deers throat will mess up the cape if it is to be mounted as already stated. But to make matters worse it doe little to drain blood from a dead deer. If you want to remove blood from the meat so it will taste better soak it in an ice chest for a week. Put ice on it and drain it every day.

nice deer oh by the way want mount it with out the skin like white wash bone they look so cool .good shot so what you shot in the spine .i would of did the same thing.
