I wanted to let everyone know that the we are on a good bite for bull reds and nice trout in Breton Sound. This is a bull that was caught yesterday. We are fishing rigs in 12 ft. of water in Breton Sound with live shrimp and croakers Carolina rigged with 1/4 - 1/2 ounce weights depending on the current and catching a nice mix of solid trout, bull reds, and sheepshead. Bay Eloi and the rocks are also producing smaller trout but they are very plentiful catching two at time on double rigged beetles but having to wade through the smaller ones with some white trout mixed in as a bonus. The fishing is excellent right now. We have been leaving early and stopping around noon. If you want to get in on late summer action give me a call. My 25ft Mr. B skiff can accommodate up to six anglers. I have availability right now on weekends and weekdays. Give me a call at 504-458-8737 to book your trip or go to my web site at www.marshland-adventures.com.
