Sweetwater Marina

Capt. Jack headed out from the launch at Sweetwater Marina at about 2:15 with his dad, Mr. Bobby of Magic Tilt and one other friend who was playing hookie and will therefore remain nameless. They fished until just before dark, hitting 3 or 4 spots on the interior and came in with a nice haul of beautiful Speckled Trout. It seemed like everyone did pretty well on the fishing today with the afternoon being just as good as the morning. Lots of folks have been asking about Princess. She has not been found yet. Her owner wanted us to put out a request to anyone who might have access to a drone to fly over the area where she was last seen. They think she might have had a stroke but even if she has passed on they would still like to find her and bring her home, If anyone can help us out just call the marina at 504-342-2368 and we will put you in touch with the landowner where she was last seen. We have some great news for folks who want to lodge with us - now in addition to our 1 bedrooms with a kitchenette - we have a 2 bedroom with a full kitchen available for 220 a night. We have been booked solid on the weekends for a while, but now that we have the extra room available you should give us a shout. Re: Sweetwater Marina
It's going to be hard to fish a place to tick in out of the wind this Saturday, maybe a few little spots directly across from the marina where you might be able to get out of the wind. And we should have live shrimp.
