What a year! My wife Samantha has been hard after this buck since the beginning of bow season. She and I have been trying for two months to get this deer in front of her, but he was always one step ahead of us. This morning the stars all aligned and she finally got her chance. He came out to corn at 0718. The wind switch last night made this stand the ideal choice, and he read the script and gave her a 90 yard shot. We passed this buck last year as an 8 point, it sure is rewarding to see our management pay off. She has put in more work this year than most seasoned hunters and its great to see her close the deal.
