Thistlethwaite in Febuary

Hey everyone, I am new to bow hunting and would like to hunt the Thistlethwaite area for the first time in Febuary. I was hoping someone could share experiences or possible tips for the area. Thanks all

Hello. I will probably be making a couple hunts there between the 5th and 16th. Maybe we can tag team it and share notes. I've hunted there a bit and it is tough hunting. Very dense palmettos witch makes it quite difficult but ther are a good number of hogs in there. Good luck

I have decided to abandon the idea of hunting in that area so late in the season, especially without someone who knows the area that I can 'tag along' with and be shown what is what over there. I have instead decided to make a hunt at Kisatchie National Forest. I am not sure that I will be successfull as it will be my first time hunting that area and the season is almost over. I would just like to spend some time in the woods and enjoy being on the hunt, hell i would be thrilled just to see a dear, especially since I have done all my scouting via the internet hahaha.
