Fig trees Bayou Cook

Reply
Hello all, I collect and grow fig trees and heard about some fig trees planted long ago by immigrants along Bayou Cook in the marsh. As a collector, these trees hold incredible promise and I would be forever grateful to hear ANY information about these trees. My goal is to PRESERVE these varieties. Has anyone harvested cuttings from these trees and would be willing to trade, I have dozens of varieties to trade. Preservation of varieties like these is very important to me.
