The fishing out of Venice is on fire!

We are putting our customers on huge yellowfin tuna as close as 20 miles out of the pass!

The wahoo fishing is good at the shelf rigs and especially around the full and new moons. I'm pulling Russell Lures, X-raps, Bombers and Stretch 30s.

Several options for Tuna fishing. The humps are holding some big Yellowfin as well as Blackfin Tuna and giant AJs. On calmer days you can find fish at the floaters and drill ships. Just remember that live bait is tough to come by this time on year so make sure you bring some chum. And keep in mind those pesky kings make great bait.

Rig fishing is usually good this time ofn year with. Amberjack, grouper and some nice cobia.

Plus the State Snapper season is open and there are plenty of big Red Snapper in close. So you can grab a quick limit on the way back in from tuna fishing!

Its definitely time to go!
