Another great Trout Bite in the Wind

Another Trout Slam today on double rigged #Matrixshad. My crew from Spiker's A/C & Heating busted up the Specks and had a blast. Windy and rough this morning, we had to tuck and hide. Found a extremely slow bite, so we chose to brave the seas! We got on a short run of trout then the bite quit. We moved and moved then got on another short run of trout. With right at 25 fish taking a ice bath, the winds started to calm down. We made a short move and struck silver. As soon as I pulled up you could see the shrimp flying out the water being chased by hungry trout. We started slinging them in two at a time on Matrix Shad. This bite didn't last long either but we had put another 20 plus fish in the boat already. We drifted around and found another good concentration of fish. We had to let the baits just drift in the current slowly to get a bite. It was game on again! Everyone in the boat slinging fish over the gunnels. Ended up being another great day. Thanks guys.

Thanks to Capt Kevin Labat for running the second boat with this crew. Thanks also to Capt Lonnie Barr for taking care of Brian Carter's crew.

Capt Marty LaCoste
Marty do you think the coast will be ok to fish come this sunday? I know this storm will churn things up pretty good over the next few days, but will it lay down enough to catch a few trout by sunday. What you think?
Right now I'm not 100% sure. If I had to make a guess I would say no.
