Ducks

Here's a few pics from this season I would have had more to post if my dog didn't get my dig cam all wet. Have had an ok season Im probly over 100 ducks this season hunting on public land,mostly trash ducks and teal though. And my new pup has allmost that many retreaves under his belt he had a good first season. Got 3 hunts left to bad the season is allmost over well hope everybody had a good season.

Those trash ducks, sure looks like wood ducks. I think your a few over your limit. Look out

Congrats on the season Green. I don't keep count because its depressing and my wife might find receipts for the shot shells one day. Keep tellin her we ate most of them at the camp...

I'll take them trash ducks over no ducks (or coots) any day but that hasn't been the problem lately. I either need Lasic or a punt gun cause the shooting over last few weeks has been kinda ugly.

One more weekend to scrape out and then a whole lot of hunny-do's.

I see six wood ducks, how do you know that he didn't have three people hunting with him?

It was three of us that morning 16 ducks total. 5 merganzers , 6 woodies, 1 mallard , 1 spoonie, 2 green wings, 1 blue bill well within the limit.

Just to help you out ghkiller, mergansers are not considered ducks and are a seperate limit. You can kill 2 hooded mergansers, which is what you have, a person. It could mean more birds for you in the future.

Great mixed bag...with some really nice drake wood ducks and hooded mergansers. All on public land, the way I like it. Something to really be proud of.
