Another limit

Another limit this morning. I hunted alone. Got 2 scaup then 3 gwt. Not many big ducks in Pac but for me a limit is a limit. I'm not picky about divers or puddle ducks. All cooks good in a black pot with onions and gravy with a side of white beans and deer sausage! Ended up with 3 coot and 2 gallinue on the way out. All in all 11 birds with 14 shots. Missed 2 early teal. I'll hit em again tomorrow and saturday. Hope this front brings some gadwall.

Oh forgot to mention I had my limit by 630 and was home by 8.

Nice job,BJ,I am hoping for a nice limit of greys tomorrow and with any luck and proper shooting might be done fairly early though do have the luxury of being able to stick dem big ducks out.I refrain as best as I can from Scaup and Coots but have folks that gladly take them(when I shoot emnot very often-Wifey hates smell of Coots and Dos Gris)!!Like ya said,a limit is a limit,I just like greys and mallards and teal,when dey hanging around and last hunt came away with big fat Zero!!!Keep after dem ducks and I will do likewise!!!

Yeah thanks. Just saw the forecast for tomorrow. 15mph head wind. Going to be a tough paddle out but a quick sail in lol. Good luck to you. Send some greys to pac.

BJ,Had decent hunt today and did manage 4 greys and hope the flocks I saw stick around and hope to be on de 'X' tomorrow.I have not had a decent chance to scout but know my hunt area extremely well and often scout while hunting,why not,and managed to put myself squarely on de 'X' today but only after a quick move from pond #1 to de 'X'!!!

Yeah sometimes a mid hunt move is needed. It's hard to pack up and move but often pays off. I didn't go yesterday due to weather conditions and today due to family gatherings but planning on tomorrow and saturday. Hope this front brought down more big ducks. We shall see.

BJ,I could quite readily tell dat a change in location was absolutely essential as I watched greys go just tad due East of me,shot to get them up and they went back down exactly where they got up from😬Could have had one more grey had I refrained from dat Scaup,my first duck of de morning. Today was teal central with only one fine drake grey in de mix. Not sure what happened to Big ducks I saw yesterday.
