I've been digesting this since monday morning. sorry for all I've talked with in the interim. Just took me a few days to digest this. My 19y/o daughter is pregnant. Yep, Wil is gonna be a grandpa at 41 y/o. I'm still a little speachless, although I found myself in the same boat at age 21. Umm. I dunno what else to say, other than we will all do our best to make Grandbaby Wil a huntnfish warrior!!!!!

Ya'll are the first to know, i'm calling my sisters this week.

CONGRATS
CONGRATS MAN. MAKE A HUNTER AND FISHERMAN OUTA THE LITTLE ONE. START EARLY!!! I became a Grandpa at 32. My stepson's girlfriend had a baby 2 days before Katrina hit. MAN, THAT WAS CLOSE!! But everything turned out ok. His other grandpa, a good friend of mine, had passed away about a year before he was born so I guess it's totally up to me and his dad to make him an outdoorsman. Good Luck.

Any plans of marriage?
Now that's some news a Dad may or may not want to hear, Wil ! Seems you are OK with it as there isn't much of an alternative. Your support is necessary and you are going to be a very proud 41 year old Grandpaw. I wish you all the luck and happiness and hope all goes well with the pregnantcy, my good friend!
Be sure and teach him/her how you do all the great commentary on this and other sites as well, in the learning process. We need all the good posters and comments we can get on here!

Hey Wil
I just became a father for the 5th time. However, I am 45. Which would you prefer, grandfather at 41 or father at 45? JT

Relevance, you Honor?
BigBuckDude, We all know Wil likes to yank chains...it's all in good fun. I can't believe a big bad-ass outdoorsman gets your feelings hurt so easily. As for this post from Wil, clearly its real and heartfelt. Your comment is niether relevent nor appropriate.

Wil, you already know my thoughs, and they're all GOOD. I just had to jump in on that one.

thanks guys, bigbuckdies, I guess your grandpappy didn't teach you about humor!!!! It's ok man, you don't need to be bitter, just breathe deeply, and come to the next Bungle. Oh, and when you read my posts, read them with a smile, it will brighten your day, I promise. I'm smiling when I type them. Oh, and the baby is no photoshop!!!!!

Meaujeaux, nice to see ya back in action. My wife and I will be fishing on Sunday, either Bayou B or Hopedale. If you see the Alumacraft 1542 with the huntnfish.com stickers on it, say Hi!

Just be happy
I know there are many thoughts and feelings mixed up in your head right now but trust me, when that baby is born and you hold that little kid in your arms, there will be nothing but smiles and happy tears. Try not to harp on any of the negative stuff with your daughter (as hard as it may be) it's too late to change it (besides it will be hard enough raising a baby already), just make sure you are a part of the little ones life because thats what is most important at this point. It may be a bit of a shock still right now but later on down the road, it will be fine...or even better than fine. I'M SURE YOU WILL ENJOY BEING A GRANDPA. I DO!!
