Grand isle surf

How is the surf at elmers on Sunday trying it out tomorrow thanks

I have a buddy that fishes down there pretty regularly. He said its been inconsistent this whole summer. Some days they do great and the next day they catch 1-2 fish. I asked him this same question the other day and he said just look for good weather and hope to get on a bite. Keep moving until you get on some fish.

I know typically some type of light N wind is best for grand isle surf fishing but that’s not very common this time of year. So what’s the next best option for wind conditions?
