Another Busy Week Catching Trout and Reds

I had good customer Dr Michael Tuite and crew back onboard the big Bluewave with me again. Calm winds and seas had us in trout mode! What a incredible morning it was, and the specks ate up our double rigged Matrix like there was no tomorrow. Easy limits of 100 trout and we got back to beat the heat. Always a great time with this crew.

Day two with Dr Micheal and crew again. The rain had us sitting at the dock before it passed. We headed back to the trout grounds to find windier conditions and choppy seas and a much slower bite. The water was still clean but the trout didn't cooperate like the day before. We worked hard to put a small pile of trout together. Big thanks to Capt K Labat for running the second boat with Kevin Guidry's crew.

My anonymous crew were back with me today!! With the winds up it was back to red fishing. We fished some new areas today that we have never fished and hit the jack pot. The reds were loaded up in a small area and my crew went to work on them! Bait shrimp under a cork had the K2Cooler full. Always a pleasure fishing with this crew. Big thanks to Capt T Miller, Capt K Labat, Capt C Lombard for running the other three boats with this crew and to Capt L Barr for taking care of Rodney Landry's crew with Turner Industries. Couldn't do what we do with out the hard work of these great Captains.

Day two with the anonymous crew found us crushing the reds as soon as we pulled up. We had ten on ice before moving the boat. We left the shallows with 18 in the K2Cooler to try and get them on some bigger reds. We fished two holes with crabs catching one 29 inch red. With 19 reds and 1 pup drum my crew threw in the towel. Great two days with these guys and gals. Thanks to Capt K Labat, Capt A LaCour, and Capt C Lombard for running the other boats.

Dr Arthur Ostheimer and crew jumped on the big Bluewave today for a red fish Slam. We found the reds stacked up again and had 11 on ice as soon as we pulled up before moving. Bait shrimp under the 4horsemen cork made for easy limits before 10am. It was the lil man's first redfish trip and he is hooked. He caught 4 reds in his first 6 cast!!! Great morning with this crew.
