Captain Bob Leeville Report,

Hello again Cyber Anglers,

Fishing at Philo Bruce Island was great this past New Moon week. My guest and I started fishing at daybreak. I worked a Blue and chrome She Dog until the sun came up while my guest caught on a live large cocahoes rigged under a comel weighted, rattling cork. I attached a 1/8 oz. split shot just above the small kahle hook to keep the Cocahoe down, away from diving Gulls and Pelicans.

Water was gulf green and incoming. Once the tide slacked the catfish and shark started. But when the tide started to fall the big Specks started again. We finished filming just in time to escape the approaching thunderstorms.

All of the action and details will be on the television venues daily starting Friday. If you can’t wait, episode 1538 is already up on my YouTube channel. Search Bob Gourgues.

If you are fishing Leeville or Lafourche and need help or last minute info, call the BTB fishing line at 504.458.9451. In the meantime good luck fishing....Cpt. Bob
