I plan on taking a trip to Grand Isle in early october and i am not very familiar with the area. If there is any tips or locations that are popular in early October i would appreciate the info.

NOT A GOOD TIME IN GRAND ISLAND. STAY ON THE FOURCHON SIDE . MY CAMP IS IN GI AND WE PULL BOAT TO LEEVILLE OR FOURCHON

if you launch in grade isle head straight north, several miles fish that marsh. or pull boat to fourchon and fish marsh behind there.
