Four league bay ??

Has any one fished the four league bay area lately ? Making a trip this weekend and was wondering how the bite has been for reds and specks

Went on 9/27 and caught a lot of fresh water catfish.
We need a good northern push to flush the marsh and drop the temps.

Thanks for the reply man ! What were you using for bait ?.... What about in the marsh east of four league bay ? Like around lost lake. I heard they're doing pretty good in lake mechant but I'm not looking to go that far in.

Threw everything in the boat. Even tried fresh shrimp.
Tried Lost Lake and Carencro.
I'm heading down this afternoon. Hope this weekend is better.

Any of you pass on the north end of Lake Carencro on your way back and forth? We have the camp on Crochett Island. Locked in with lillies for the last few weeks right in the turn. Wondering if they cleared?? Thanks for the info if u have any.

I did not go that far.
Lillys are bad but if we get any north winds out of this approaching front, it should drop the water and move some of them out.

That's awesome ! I didnt do as good as you by far but we still had a good time. My wife caught 2 nice reds. One 25 inch and the other 26. Down in mosquito bayou. And the next day we fished the south west side of halter island and caught 10 reds only 4 keepers though. It was kinda slow for us. I'm gonna head down to dularge this weekend hopefully ill do a little better this time

It's a classic whaler and I want to preserve that full bow rail look. Any idea on what kind of end connections those are on the bow rail in the link? Appreciate your reply, I might do that to hold me off till i get the removable piece in. Lexington Onsite Truck Repair
