Lake P fishing

Reply

Have been fishing later in the night around 10 pm hitting the 1st and second turnaround of the causeway and the wellhead right off the west side of the causeway crushing red fish. It seems a school starts moving from the wellhead towards most of the pilings heading south. 3 friends of mine and myself have gotten a four person limit of 18-22 inch reds 4 times in the past week. Just wanted to spread the word

Forgot to mention we've been throwing live croakers on the wellhead then switching to magneto and shrimp creole matrix on the pilings.

I have heard the mouth of bayou Lacombe has been on fire early in the am and late in the afternoon for trout. Nothing big to mention of but a lot of 13-15 inch trout. I'm on the southshore so have been sticking to seabrook and the causeway.

Figured ya were fishing S end of Causeway and ya might wanna scope out the numerous PowerLine Pilings outta Williams Blvd boat launch using Chartreuse Berkley Gulps Swimming Mullet, killer on reds and there should be plenty out there. Good luck and thanks again for heads up👍🎣🐠
