Dularge Trout Location?

I have been fishing the last 3 days and have caught redfish with no problem but the trout bite has been really slow (I caught less than 15 in all the last 3 days). I fished the Bayou Sauveur area, the islands in North Sister Lake and all over Lake Mechant. I plan to fish Wednesday and was wondering if anyone has been getting decent trout action in the South side of Sister Lake? Are they still on the Coast and just haven't moved very far inland or what? If anyone knows where some numbers may be at I would appreciate it.

Andrew, the trout fishing has been more like fishing and not catching. There are some trout around just not a lot of them. You are in the right area's so keep trying. also all the ones that my customers caught this week were on Berkley rattle shrimp under a cork in coastal candy color. try points cuts and reefs with current running on them just not too strong. don't pop the cork very hard.

Andrew ,i fished a crab trap line yesterday in Mechant (westside near Goose Bay)and under a bunch of resting Seagulls.Did ok not great but did find some nice size to them.Vudu shrimp in Tiger and Glow Chartreuse under a cork two feet.Didn't catch a fish till the Fog lifted which was almost 10,Be careful, some clown flys by within twenty yds in dense fog.Take your time getting out there no hurry,no worry. One more thing, keep your lights on till the fog lifts.
