Manatee Sightings

Hello! I am a masters student at UNO and I am currently doing research on manatees in the Lake Pontchartrain basin. If you or anyone you know has seen a manatee in the last 5 years or so and have not already reported it, please either comment on this post or email me at louisianamanatee@gmail.com

So would the beginning of the ' process to protect them ' involve creating idle only zones in the areas of sightings , I hate to say it , but , it is better to not report any sightings
