Capt. Jack had a lot of success with red fish on his charters yesterday & today. “Dr. George” (Capt. Jacks personal hook extractor) and guest caught 25 reds, in the Lake Batola area, then went trout fishing in Lake Amadee and got 26 trout. With the weather conditions today, they only wanted to fish for reds and they limited out.

Redfish are everywhere in the interior marshes of Delacroix. We’ve been hearing great reports of red fish in Grand Lake. Four Horse seems to be the place to fish on the south bank, for speckle trout mixed with a lot of nice red fish.

Over all the trout are showing up in Delacroix, but we are having color issues with dirty water in the great trout fishing areas. The water needs to clear up, it’s too fresh, and the dredging of the pipeline seems to be an issue also.

Weather is looking better, and the winds are laying down. It should be great fishing for the Thanksgiving holidays.

Come visit us at Sweetwater Marina.

We will have plenty Fresh Live Beautiful Shrimp.
