Captain Bob Leeville Report

Hello again Cyber Anglers,

Fished out of Boudreaux’s Waterfront Motel in Leeville and got into the Reds, Specks and Flounder in the South Texaco field.

If you have watched Between the Banks through the years you know how much I love to fish there because of several reasons. First, I have never have been run off there in 41 years and no one will ever run you off. Second, many oyster bottoms. Third, many canals and ponds. Fourth, many fish.

From my anchored position in D’s Canal, the first and only spot I fished, I caught all the fish. Most came on free swimming large Goo’s cocahoes on a weightless shock leader with a #4 black kahle hook. H&H spinner, Boone Straight Jacket in-line spinner and when it clouded, She Dog, also produced. Fishing was on.

If you would like to see for yourself and learn what details you need to know to duplicate my success, just watch the latest episode of Between the Banks (#1546) on our TV venues daily, streaming on betweenthebanks.com, or latest and past episodes on my YouTube channel. If your fishing Lafourche and need last minute help call the BTB fishing line at 504.458.9451.

In the meantime good luck fishing and have a wonderful Christmas and a safe New year from my family to yours....Bob

Hi Bob - we are looking for a charter early January for my wife, daughter and father-in- law. He gets seasick and does not to fish offshore. Do you fish protected waters?
