T-Funky Sac a lait??

Reply

Just checking(bored outta my gourd)to see if anyone has chased any sacs on T-Funky.Just placed nice order for fine Crappie Psychic trailers and those combined with chartreuse glitter Crappie Nibbles was doing quite a job on T-Funky slabs probably beginning a tad later than this last year.Been itching to get after some slabs and hard to beat T-Funky,especially certain areas that always seem to hold em!!Hope to wrap up extremely weak duck season and possibly climb in deer stand and might hit T-Funky next Friday, sooner if I really get too bored!!

Well, know exactly where a lil beast lurks, probably a slab close to 2+lbs and joked with buddy of mine about the chunks we caught just a year ago(used them fine carcasses to catch relatively smallish crabs in Parish Line Canal)and he even commented on the size of the carcasses.Last year think we caught bunch around 1.75 lbs, plenty big but was hoping to crack the 2.0 lb barrier.Let yall know how we do and I am such a sucker for soft plastic lures, just got in nice shipment of Lunker City Fin-S fish lures, possibly most deadly soft plastic on de market for specks and reds and bought Lunker City's custom Fin-S fish jig heads, they are absolutely fine but pricey, over $1 per jig head but they are designed to keep soft plastics secure!!!

jigrig,Not sure if I mentioned this to ya but found some absolute slabs last year and biggest close to 2 lbs and lost absolute monster, estimated at well over 2 lbs and know where he lurks!!It is certainly music to my ears, especially with the weaker than weak duck season.Anytime I run into either you or Dave Pizzolato, fishing the T-Funky,know I must be in de right place, right time and me and Abita KC buddy planning a sac a lait assault next Th!!Thanks, again for the heads up!!

Jig Rig,Me and an Abita KC buddy launched his fine G3 at 4th Street in Covington and it was certainly cold on T-Funky and water was plenty funky and we saw only one other regular and all he had was 4 sacs and we called it a day early so my buddy could hit Academy for fine Slab Daddy jigging pole and I could replace my worn-out Slab Daddy reel.Picked up a few bargain baits and will be back at T-Funky slabs soon.Water was about 50 degrees and extremely muddy, probably not good combination!!!Good luck to ya if ya head out there soon!!
