Dularge Trout

Sonny Brignac and crew were back onboard the Blue Wave today. We targeted trout and found a slow bite at our first and second stop. When we finally found them stacked up and hungry, the dolphins moved in and shut the bite down. We moved around and picked away as the fish never schooled Back up. Shrimp Creole Matrix Shad under a cork was the top producer. Good times once again with these guys, thanks again Sonny for the continued business.

Re: Dularge Trout
Captain Marty, looks like you found a decent bite. Please update this post with a comment on where you launched, what area you were fishing (Sister/Mechant Lake, don't have to be too specific unless you want to), tide movement, etc. and we will move this report to the front page. Thanks for the report!!!!

Re: Dularge Trout
We left from my dock at the end of Dularge past Jugs. The tide was falling when we were on our best bite and water temperature was 64 degrees. We had a strong South wind so we had to stay protected on the South banks out of the wind, this is where we found the cleanest water also. Fish are starting to show back up on the inside waters (lake Mechant, Sister Lake, etc) all the way down to the coast. So far things are pointing to a good trout bite this Spring.
