Awesome fishing the last two days out of Sweetwater! Yesterday, Captain Jack fished with his good friends, basically family, Dr. Jimmy Heintz, Dr.Jonathon Heintz, Dr.Jay Heintz, little Jonathon Heintz and their cousin Zack, who is in a wheelchair. They headed out at around 8am. They went through the graveyard in heavy fog, and BOOM a boat coming straight at them at about 40mph..thank goodness it worked out right. Captain Jack turned right, and the other boat started to turn left, ended up turning right and they just missed each other. After that excitement, they headed to Bakers Bay. They caught 16 beautiful reds, one red about 35 pounds (that they threw back!) and about 40 other reds that they threw back, in Bakers Bay! After that they went to catch some speckled trout with a-lot of success. Right now, the water is beautiful all over the Delacroix region!! It should stay nice for the next few days. Trout have been being caught in Little Lake again, around the Bayou Long region (where the water is absolutely crystal clear), in Shell lake, Shrimp Lagoon, Fourhorse, all behind Lake John and on the other side of Bayou Terre Aux Boeuf...you name the spot and they are catching them there! We heard a report from where Bayou Lery meets Lake Lery..I know it sounds crazy, but thats how far the trout are in the inside. We heard some reports come from Little lake by Alligator Pass. Today, Captain Jack fished with The Duwe family from Grapvine, TX. They had a lot of success today. They ended up with 73 speckled trout and 10 redfish. They had a wonderful tome fishing with Captain Jack or as they called him “the legend.” Lets pray for Captain Jack, as tomorrow he will have to go get re-certified for all his pest control licenses...he is not that thrilled and would rather be fishing. He will be back to fishing by Wednesday. We will have plenty if live shrimp tomorrow. Sorry to the few people that didn’t get shrimp today..we are always trying out best to keep live shrimp in the tank. We are getting a whole load of live shrimp tonight. It looks like it will be cold this weekend coming, unfortunately. So, you can get in your fishing in tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday and half of Friday. We cant thank our customers enough..you guys are awesome! (The first pic is of Captain Jacks charter yesterday and the 2nd & 3rd pics are of his charter from today)

We also have a few pics, besides Captain Jacks charters from the last two days, to share with you all. The 4th picture is of Captain Calvins charter. He took out James, Blair & Luke from Canada to catch some reds and trout..the reds came from Bay Andrew and the trout from Lake John! Thanks for sharing Captain Calvin!

Also, the 5th& 6th picture is of Beth Ann and Brent King. They had their limit of reds from their secret red-fishing spot!

That's why all boaters should know the rules of the road for boating. They are available on the LA Dept of WLF web site. Safe boating and fishing my friends.
