Seems like every year in March many of us are scratching our heads about the trout bite and then like a light switch the trout show up hungry. That time seems to be now and a lot has to do with the weather. Friday was really as easy as it gets and Saturday with Hugh Engles crew was different the results were the same. We started off with really foggy conditions. I showed up where I had caught the day before only to find a big fat 0. A change in location had me pulling out the net on a fat trout. Working a Shrimp Creole Matrix under a cork over reefs and points the guys steadily put fish on ice for the rest of the day. At the end of the day they had a pile.
