Me and Medicare Client were planning Reggio trip to catch up with DeWizard7 but windy and possibly rainy conditions in Reggio made us alter our plans and we launched at Main St in Lacombe, headed N and within about 3 minutes of launching,I tossed Junebug Red Zoom Speed Worm to base of fine cypress tree, felt serious tug,set hook and had fine fish on for maybe 3 seconds and it spit the doggone hook!!!We tossed mostly soft plastics and a few spinner baits and managed a few bass, decent perch and nice goggle-eye.I managed to catch the bass and my fishing partner caught the perch and he missed nice bass that spit hook at side of his boat!Think we might get together for the Wed pm bass tourney staged at Main St but we fished Reggio pretty hard today and might head back Th and a Wed evening trip might be a tad much.Water was fine N of Main St and not that good S of Main St,guess all dat River water Spilling into Lake aint helping and think we my have to wait til Dec for decent salt-water fishing near Bayou Lacombe and Lake!!

CCAguns,Yep adding those to the ones we nabbed in T-Funky gonna yield decent fish fry.Use my very same tactics, minus soft plastic worms,to nab every fish we caught yesterday in Reggio, though plenty specks inhaled Vudu under popping cork and DeWizard a master at soft plastics, bet he would love a T-Funky or Bayou Lacombe trip!!
