Just wanted y’all to know that every fishing trip is Not a great one , I had some really great friends come all the way down from the north shore , they followed me around to some of my favorite fishing spots, really wanting them to get on them, but Luck was with the fish , yes we were skunked , but you know something, I had a really good time being with them, hopefully next time they come back down this way we will have better results 🧙‍♂️

Wiz,We most definitely greatly appreciated your efforts today to assist us in finding some fish and we did manage one keeper speck and it was comical watching that huge red nail my popping cork, too bad I do not attach treble hooks to my popping corks!Got home, worn out from early wake-up and my older son actually did me huge favor as I was dozing off and had plenty site prep work to do for his Tuff Shed, being built this Friday!!Think Buddy and I gonna chase some Bayou Lacombe bucket-mouths,kinda like you chasing specks with as close as you live to the Delacroix Marsh. Can't thank ya enough for fine guidance today and maybe next week with bring ya dozen fresh yard eggs and maybe a chunk of pork loin from dat big ole boar we butchered about a month ago.Hope you and your cousin find dem fish as willing as they were last week!!!Dat doggone wind got us good today!!!

That's why they call it 'fishin' and not 'catchin'. Wiz. Wouldn't be as much fun and satisfaction in it if you did well all the time.

Got skunked last Friday working Lake Borgne and the West side of Biloxi marsh. A few throwback reds was it. Really got there too late, but the water was pretty.
