Specks on da beach!

Reply

On Monday, June 10th, the tide change occurred around 10 am to noon from Caminada pass to Four Bayous pass. With a .7 tide range. A light northeast wind made fishing the beach easy. At noon the bite started at the rocks in front of Da Fort and lasted most of the afternoon. Fishing by yourself doesn’t take long to put 25 trout in da boat. The Lemonhead Matrix was the hottest bait.

Got reply from buddy of mine who said they slammed specks in Grand Isle and sent me fine box shot.I understand Doc Weiss currently in Second Place in Star for speck!!!Was hoping to get flatboat up and running for this Fri-Sat Jesuit Alumni Rodeo but do not think it is gonna be ready and got plan B solidly in place, yak fishing NShore hoping to nab some slot reds.Had we not had back-to-back Spillway Openings, feel reasonably certain we might be able to nab some fine slot reds but not too sure right now.Know where some lunker bass might be a-hiding!!!
