Bimini Top feedback

Reply

Anyone have a Bimini top on their bay boat? I have a 20ft blue wave pure bay and was thinking of putting a Bimini top on it. Is it worth it? Does it get in the way or any other feedback would be appreciated. Also what type and material you have? I want something that will last.

Thanks

I have one on my 24' blue wave and I love it. We lower it when we don't need it and it is totally out of the way. If it's just 3 of us fishing we can leave it up and still comfortable fish but I do have a 24' boat. Sterling's Uphostery put it on and did a first class job. I would recommend one if you fish in the heat of the summer.

I have one on a 22 ft Kenner and I love it. It’s a life saver when the family wants to rest while you make that last cast. Lol or just more cast all day

Well worth the investment and much better than a t-top in my opinion. T-tops prevent 360 degree casting and STAY in the way. Bimini's are great and can easily be dropped if not needed. Mine usually doesn't go up until about 10am and doesn't interfere with casting as it's rather low. I have it on a 21'6' Kenner Vision and I love it.
