Plaquemines Parish at it again

Got a call yesterday to look into the hold harmless agreement again, went to government office today to get things clarified. They have 'revamped the system' it is going to be inforced this year I was told by a higher up in the enforcement agency. I went in and was told that the 'fee' is 100 for a resident and 500 for a out of parish resident. I brought to the woman's attention that their will most likely be a lot of deaths with people not paying the fee and choosing to go down to pass a loutre or delta even in rough river and weather conditions. Seems all the ppg is worried about is their money.

And the politicians are style lying about people leaving Louisiana. Sixty-six years old and leaving where I was born and raised because of this. We no longer have a State for the citizens. It has become the septic tank of America where taxes are reevaluated because the entity is broke but you get nothing for the increase in money. My taxes have increase (3) times the amount in (13) years. Hell, I will be paying the parish rent just to keep my home. Bye Bye Louisiana and all of the corruption..........Oh, the Lawyers as well!!!!!!

I guess they are making too much money from the oil and gas industry to worry about the revenue from sportsman.

What agency is enforcing it, PP sheriffs? I?ll buy a permit when they quit leasing parish land to certain hunting clubs. These Stupid Crooked government officials need to be brought to light. Last year it was mis printed stating the cost was $100 and $500 but later corrected to $50 and $250. So what’s the correct fees for this year?

jesus Christ people the parish can barely afford to cut the grass here. yes they have rules for the parish land and are getting you to pay for permits to hunt it. Revenue and protection of lawsuits for the 10,000 people hunting all over it. And 10,000 is probably light. Don't get the permit and just go hunting. Play the odds. Anyone ever see sheriffs down there on a daily basis checking and looking. How long will that last if so. How much money are they gonna spend on this effort???? Hell roll the dice. Last year we saw a major drop in hunters and I think it was because of this. Thank God. The place gets beat to death now. This year I thought they were having a duck hunting tournament with the amount of mudboats and boats with pirogues we saw going down. Back to the topic the councilman members are like north versus south and cant come to an agreement on shit to help this once flourishing parish. So like I said just go hunt it. Hell what they gonna fine you $75??? There you go probably said what everyone is saying and doing anyway. Just have to add this. This is a paradise that is completely ruined now by social media, mudboats, and way way way too much pressure. Good luck killing the few birds you do and hope the drinking and fishing is great.
