2 completely different days for Mississippi crew

I won’t talk too much about Thursday since customers wait til 5pm Wednesday to tell me they weren’t coming Thursday. So Capt. LB and I went play around and didn’t stay anywhere to long because we wanted to do a circle around DU. We caught everywhere we went with shrimp Creole Matrix under a cork. Friday and Saturday were polar opposites for Scott Livingston, Randall, and Wilson. Pre-front conditions on Friday gave us a 10-15mph SE wind early with some storms and little tide movement. On Saturday we had post front 15-25 mph N winds and a hard falling tide. Friday we chose to chase trout knowing Saturday we were going to be hiding. Started slow hitting points and reefs picking up a few here and there. We did finally land on a point holding around 30 nice trout and we picked up a couple reds as lagniappe. Saturday I thought we could bull red fish but the tide was hauling so fast it made it difficult so we switched gears to banging banks with Matrix tipped with shrimp under a cork. We had a mix bag of trout, reds and heads going before getting in on a mess of reds using shrimp on the bottom deep in the marsh. Great 2 days and thanks guys for your continued business. Big Thanks to Capts. Marty, Labat, LB, and Hook for taking care of Kyle Harvey’s big crew. They had a bunch of out of state people with very little experience which made for a great day of drag pulling. Also, thanks to Leonard and Zack for keeping Kyle’s crew fed with a great shrimp and crab boil.
