Debated on deer hunting private club near me or stalking tree rats in Big Branch and guess I was aggravated at deer feeder and game cam not having any videos last time I swapped out SD card(had invite to possibly fish Hopedale/Shell Beach)and guess dem tree rats won and managed to bag two of the three I shot today.Today was first time in last 4 hunts out there that I did not see any deer but did see and hear nice flock of snow geese,never a bad sign,especially with Regular Duck Season Opener few weeks out!!Walked about 4 miles and thoroughly enjoyed the solitude and bagging a few fat tree rats,now Wifey has 7 for good batch of squirrel stew.Took obligatory ride to deer club to swap out SD card(have bunch of video of daytime deer activity,plus nocturnal activity)and planning on launching ole Southfork to take older son and grandson fishing for whatever Lady P decides she wants to toss our way,hoping for specks and reds and Bomber Spinner Baits awaiting some sight-casted reds and got few MirroDines for fat specks!!!Hope predicted winds and tides pan out and think we should nab some fine fish!!!
