Re: MR.LARRY, duck count
I spoke briefly to Larry yesterday via text. They were flying the transects in SE Louisiana. He hopes to have his report issued by this afternoon.

Hard to fathom that not only mallards but spoonies did not register even a blip on radar screen and I totally agree with Proud Pop's assessment that we ALL need to take the numbers posted with a grain of salt, that only shows where ducks were spotted at that time, not when we are hunkering down, thermos of java, gun ready, decoys bobbing and face-masks in place(hearing protection strongly suggested).Anyone dat knows me knows we are Federal/Public Land warriors and lucky me just picked up new Medicare Client dat used to hunt about the exact Marsh I hunt, but hunted it when it was called Flat Point Hunting Club!!!He and I got together this week and I do not think I will have to twist even his little pinky to convince him to head down to duck paradise in Venice.Bayoubob and I hope the frigid conditions locally and fronts barreling down upon us has dem local quackers stirred up and eager to join de plastic parades in front of our spots!!!Hope Coastal Zone Opener best in years-just got text from de Wizard7 and he down in Violet and he saw nice wad of bluewings!!!Hope springs eternal!!!
