Best Duck Opening Day in Years

We had one of best opening days in years! On Saturday conditions were perfect. We had 3 boats with 7 hunters and 3 guides and we got a total of 60 birds. On Sunday things were a bit slower but we still got 40 birds. They included gadwall,

blue and green winged teal, redheads, spoonbill, scaup and wood ducks. Exactly totally 100 birds for the weekend.

We have a few dates available. Get in on a hunt while the birds are here. www.laduckhunts.com

Mike,Bet ya glad they were NOT able to plant crops up N to flood and keep ducks that used to migrate here!!!Check out everyone's last few seasons and see what others have experienced.Where I hunt, there is NO shortage of SAV,plenty of awesome groceries to KEEP ducks here,if they decide to migrate like they used to do not that many years ago.True, extremely early freezing conditions due N and W of us certainly helped but my hunch is the flooded conditions in Mid-West and N did not allow planting of crops,NEVER intended for human consumption!!!

One other mention-how often do yall shoot woodies in Delacroix???On NShore, not at all unusual to shoot woodies and often they help save a rotten hunt, though NEVER count on em same as greenheads, though when Arkansas freezes up,mallard-central,at least where I hunt---food for thought!!
