Went out this morning with my son, started on bottom but just to many little trout so made a move too a spot that is always good for bigger trout, switching to hard plastic got on them good before winds started blowing, water temperature was 61 degrees, ( surface temperature ) nicer trout were scattered but we managed to get a few

Wiz and Jr.Wiz,Nice box of fat specks, there!!Too bad Nick and I struggled duck hunting today,he was the lucky hunter, bagging nice drake blue wing teal and we both got teased by fine pair of greys-did hear of some widgeons not far from where we hunted today.Hard to believe the lack-luster duck results after such promising starts from some folks hunting Delacroix and Venice-maybe a few fronts headed our way might shove down some ducks-once split in season occurs, plan to head your way for specks like dat and ya know me,love hard/soft plastics-much more rewarding nabbing fine specks and fooling em w/anything BUT live bait!!!Happy Thanksgiving!!

Wiz,Just placed yet another order from Lunker City, they have way too any colors to know which to pick from and dey have 'Originals' stamped on their packages to distinguish them from Zoom Flukes, the 'generic' imitators much like some of the other soft plastic lure makers dat imitate other successful lures.Bet dem ole-school split tail beetles still nab many a speck.Hard to beat dem Fin-S fish lures and bass fishers know em very well and funny story bout a fella dat got mad at me for 'outing' his secret soft plastic!!!Talked to John C and I can't wait to chase some specks soon as I gets half a chance!!!Congrats once again!!!

P.S. John C said his fishing Mafia call him Academy on de water!!!
