So when you hear fish are biting somewhere, you stay away. I doubt it.
Think back to you were first getting started or weren't expert as you are now. It was/is tough and marsal of fish biting inspires hope and confidence. Be patient please. It's as much a virtue as the abundance God provided us with this gr8 environment for fishing.
I think your statement is rude even though somewhat accurate. We fisherman need to kind to each other on the water, in stores, bait shops, on the highways pulling boats, and even on fishing site solely for Louisiana sportsman.
No disrespect intended.

I have gladly given hundreds of people advice on how to catch fish in certain areas....' CERTAIN AREAS '.....There is NO GO AND DROP ANCHOR AND CLEAN UP every time....Nothing rude about it....If you fishing in 2 feet of water with a cork and not catching don't go find another spot with 2 feet of water....I have had many days come back to launch skunked and the guy pulling up in front of me with a limit....Where he caught had nothing to do with it. If he was helpful enough to say how he did what he did I could apply it to waters I know....Stick to an area of marsh you know and if you got time expand that area lil bit at a time...You want a gaurantee go to the fish market.....

Yep,much more satisfying finding my own game and fish and NEVER give up exact locations and how much sense would it make😜Many years ago well before BP disaster, had my two boys fishing undisclosed spot in Grand Isle and we were whacking 22-24 inch specks on just bout EVERY cast and had NO one round us but guess drones or binoculars spotted us and had to yell at one moron who coulda tied up to my SouthFork he was dat close😬😬😬Ended up losing fine 3 lb speck to shark and fishing unfortunately shut down pronto.

I agree. When I used to fish 2-3 days a week, I would dread the Thursday edition of The Advocate. Joe Macaluso would post the fishing report. Wherever he would say the fish were biting, I would head the opposite way. I also used to post pics of successful trips but got sick of the emails I would get from people wanting to know where, on what, how, what time, what I eat for a snack, how I combed my hair and what my favorite movie was. Too many people just wait to see someone's success instead of just going fishing and learning for themselves. Those same people also do not understand that one of the hardest things to do in fishing is to catch fish someone else is on!

Yep,It has gotten almost to the point where I might NOT even mention the launch I intend to use or even give an indication of where I intend to fish. Right now still home knowing we have falling tide all day and Wifey suggested we somewhat delay our launch to take advantage of underwater light that most likely will be on as darkness arrives🎣🐠🍀Not sure if I wanna fish that area or fish Lake guess it depends upon what kinda water conditions Lady P dishes out vs what the fine T-Funky has in store for us. Still do not mind posting pics but will NEVER put exact locations EVER.

I think it is ok to ask general questions, i.e. 'How is the water in Verret?' or something of the sort. What is not ok, is asking specifics. Or using your kids/wife/older parent to make it SEEM like you would be helping them. Too many times I have seen word spread and an area go from 5-10 boats to 50-60.
