Spring like conditions = great bite

I’ve been off the water for a little while due to this crazy weather but the last few days we’ve seen temps rise and the wind settle. I had 3 generations of the Blouin family with me. Jerry, Jeremy, Blaine, and Cam started with a very foggy morning and a slow bite with very little tide movement. The trout were catching were solid fish tho. As the morning moved on the tide started to fall and the bite got real good. We fished a spring pattern bouncing around hitting reefs, points, and cuts throwing Matrix Shad both tightlined and under a cork. Each stop they preferred it one way or the other so it was important to have half the crew throwing a cork and other tightlined so we could figure it out. By lunch the guys had put together a pile of keepers along with plenty of throwbacks with those being in the 11inch range so if all things stay the same and we can avoid any major freezes we should have an epic spring.
