I always keep the last weekend of the season open to take my dad. Today we had a good hunt killing all greys. It wasn’t burn up your barrel fast but we had good action throughout the morning. Patience was important this morning and you had to stay on the call until you shot. Some people will tell you less calling is best late in the season but today if you were quiet they would land short or drift away outside the decoys. As long as you sound like a duck and read the ducks and what they respond to your calling should not cause the ducks to flare. One more day to give them all we got. Good luck to all and stay safe on the water.
