Sac-A-lait? Where?

I am have recently had a fever to go out and catch some Sac-A-lait. I am not exactly sure their movement patterns though or where I should go and look for them. I mainly fish around ponchy-manchac and around T-funky for bass but I have never really targeted white-perch while fishing. If anyone has some tactics on how they locate and fish for them around those areas Id love to be educated on it. Thanks, God Bless and keep on fishin!!

Doggone website messed up as I just tried to reply.Here goes attempt #2-best tip or set of tips to follow-This should be about prime time for slabs based upon my experience last few years.Get a look at Google Maps and target the dead-end canals(when ya run into some T-Funky slab experts fishing exact same water as you,ya know ya in right territory).Second get used to adjusting slip-corks or tight-lining tube jigs and get a good supply of Crappie Psychic trailers and Crappie Nibbles,trust me that makes a HUGE difference.All ya need is decent supply of tube jigs,Bobby Garland makes bunch of excellent sac a lait lures,Bass Pro and Academy and probably Wally World should have more than ample supply.Use electronics to get depth and adjust slip-cork to where tube jig just above bottom and obviously if ya in shallows,adjust slip-cork accordingly and get ready for some fun.Turns out some of the absolute biggest slabs I have caught are not that far from any of the launches I typically use and mid-week probably best times as pressure much less.Hoping to hit favorite stretch of T-Funky this coming Th and want to tangle with 3-3.5 beast I lost just about year ago this time.I personally like black/chartreuse and blue/white tube jigs but experiment til ya settle upon which color entices the bigger slabs.Hope these tid-bits help!

LA Av8or,Wifey and I crossed over the T-Funky about 20 minutes ago and it was certainly a muddy mess,maybe in a few days if we get no more rain,she might get a tad clearer.Some of the T-Funky sac a lait masters prefer it to have slight stain but today she looked like the ole Mighty Muddy!!!Good luck and it is lotta fun,setting cork to proper depth and lifting up some hefty slabs.Some of the masters do not use corks,but I love using Slab Daddy jigging pole and using it as a guide,can set the slip-cork to about 10ft very accurately!!

I have used a product in the past with excellent results ! It was call Hull Magic ! it wipes on easily and the yellow stains disappear before your eyes. I think it has citric acid in it as the activator ! Lancaster Onsite Truck Repair
