T-Funky Fish Practicing their version of distancing

Well,Like lotta folks joke about hunting/fishing not being shopping-dat curse was placed upon GB3 and I this am.We met at 4th St launch near Ole Landing this am,around 6:30 am,and I got there early getting in some casting practice and dat about sums up our T-Funky trip, lotta casting practice.GB3 did nab fine bass almost from get-go,unfortunately this bass had other 'distancing' options, including distancing itself from getting netted!!Was ultra-cool watching healthy and fine bass, probably all of 1.5 lbs nab top water bait but did nice tail-walk and somehow manage to spit two treble hooks. We tried known sac a lait sloughs,dead-ends and we each showed each other some potential spots to crush sac a lait and bass, trouble was dey all were intent on distancing themselves from de net!!!GB3 has fine Alumacraft CC,think 20 72 and has ultra-fine Yammie 115 4-stroke on rear and we chatted bout upcoming Trestles trips plus trips to Hopedale and Delacroix.Did get text from AJfishes' fishing partner and he suggested I NOT give up on Trestles,do not intend to toss in de towel on Trestles, need green and clear water, kinda like what Wifey and I found this past Tues and want to toss some dem ultra-fine Lunker City Shakers at dem specks and reds pronto!!!Did not see lotta fishing pressure on T-Funky and got trip planned for possibly tomorrow afternoon/early evening and not sure where de Nuck and Futz Duck Busters gonna seek fish this Sat.If wind conditions allow, might start at Main St in Lacombe with intention of eventually hitting shorelines outside Bayou Lacombe, possibly tossing some dem MirroDines,a lure lotta folks try to imitate but have not gotten dat imitation down pat!!!We did see a few folks looking like dey were nabbing slabs in T-Funky,fishing minnow soft plastics under corks and fishing tree-tops,great spots for sac a lait to congregate!!!
