Don’t need no stinking bait !

Went late this morning, got out there winds were blowing, water was high tide was falling, went over too a spot that was good to me before, it didn’t matter what you used the trout were hungry, I started with a wake bait and caught a couple but winds were fighting me so switching to a rope bait and soft plastic on bottom was the key, only keeping 10 trout for friend and our supper tonight , left them biting. Was definitely a great day to be on the water today. 🧙‍♂️🎣

Dat's de Wiz we know and love, nabbing fine azz specks NEVER using bait, aint gonna worry about having to stop for bait ever and like idea of rope lures, just gotta wrestle self away from fine T-Funky and pretty slabs!!!Wifey and I crossed over on perhaps our last day at Ponchatoula Wal Mart Medicare kiosk and dat T-Funky about as pristine as I have ever seen her.Told dear Medicare Client exactly where I nabbed fine bass and sac a lait and might have to take short trip to Academy to re-stock Spoiler Shad, the packs have 2 each of 4 different colors and be willing to be color makes NO difference to slabs, bass, etc as older son went to fish magnet last night, hooked two huge fish, one a bass that he estimated at over 4 lbs(have 4.6 T-Funky bass mounted and he used it for comparison)and huge sac a lait that he estimated at well over a lb(just caught one dem yesterday for comparison's sake)!!!Taking break tomorrow and hope to nab some T-Funky chunks Wed with Medicare Client!!!

Yesterday indeed was a nice day to be on T-Funky consistently been nabbing slabs close to or exceeding one lb and goal is to find dat elusive 3 plus lb stud dat escaped few years ago.Gonna try change of pace tomorrow, seeking a salty species, specks in particular.Whole family worked extremely hard on garden and yard and getting fine and huge vegetable garden planted, should be reaping rewards about early May!!!
