I haven’t been posting any reports, kinda wanna see other people’s reports, not haven’t seen to many so here goes: Went this morning too one of my spots from my fishing log , trout haven’t learned about keeping 6 ft apart ! Us my rope jigs was pulling Two at a time into the boat, was just to easy so I changed to a top water plug and had a blast, keeping only 15 trout for friend and our supper tonight, left them biting, was a great day to be on the water 🧙‍♂️🎣

Wiz,Just realized dat ya sent me neat video of you releasing nice speck.Think I told ya about the easy-to-tie loop knot I taught myself after watching a few You Tube videos on knot instructions, guess I must be missing something but tieing an overhand knot with double line and carefully adjusting the size of the loop makes an incredibly strong knot, fishing the debris-filled T-Funky has shown me conclusively dat the overhand loop knot does NOT fail as I have bent hooks, snapped lines and have never had dat knot slip,it won't and can't and might take short video of how stinking easy it is to tie!!!Thanks for de short speck release video!!

Nice catch, Wiz. Seeing your double-rigged rope baits reminds me of the shad rigs we used to use many moons ago!!!

CCAguns,Definitely remember special popping cork I bought to use with tandem shad rigs, bet dey would still work and what amazes me is the extent to which certain lure 'peddlers' always HAVE to tinker with their offerings when the ole stand-by,sparkle beetle(still made same way as way back when)and something as clunky as Devil's Horse Toothpick still terrorizes bass and bet reds would crush dat ole stand-by!!Can't wait to view Louisiana Produce Man latest Trestles video!!
